Explore on the Floor® Tummy Classes

Sensory, Reflex and Motor Development Classes for Babies in Scarsdale

Join Westchester’s sensory and reflex experts, pediatric physical therapists with 15 to 30 years of experience, for one fun-filled hour of music, movement and play every Friday morning. Each class blends sensory and motor development with what every parent should know about baby reflexes: when they’re expected, and when they should fade.

You’ll leave each class with simple, practical ways to support your baby’s strength, senses and development at home, and you’ll connect with other new parents along the way.

What We’ll Cover

  • Motor skills: building strength for head control, rolling, sitting and crawling
  • Sensory play: engaging activities that help your baby explore touch, sound, sight and movement
  • Baby massage: gentle techniques to calm, connect and support body awareness
  • Reflex integration: understanding your baby’s early reflexes and how movement helps them mature
  • Positioning: how to hold, carry and position your baby to support healthy development
  • Explore on the Floor ® Tummy Class made fun with tips, even for babies who don’t love it yet
